Daniyar Yeleussinov

about

One of the most dominant amateur fighters in recent years, Daniyar Yeleussinov has made a great to his assault on the pro game.

Yeleussinov won Olympic gold in 2016 for Kazakhstan, beating three fellow Matchroom fighters on the way in Shakhram Giyasov, Souleymane Cissokho and then Josh Kelly in the final. That was Yeleussinov’s second appearance at the games having boxed in London 2012, and Yeleussinov also won World championship gold in 2015 after claiming silver in 2013.

‘Kazakh Thunder’ joined the paid ranks in April 2018 and after racking up nine wins from nine fights before COVID-19 struck, he’ll be looking to kick on towards title fights as he enters double-figures.
