Muhammad Ali signed a long-term promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing at the tail end of 2022.
The 18-year-old, who is managed by Sam Jones and trained by Dave Coldwell in Rotherham, enjoyed a glittering career in the amateurs, becoming a multi-National and multi-International Champion while maintaining an impressive record of 38 wins and 5 losses.
Ali shares his name with one of the greatest fighters of all time but is determined to stand alone in terms of achievements. The gifted Leicester Bantamweight prospect has ambitions of becoming an Undisputed superstar at 118lbs.
The teenager made his eagerly anticipated professional debut in March 2023 on a NXTGEN card in Newcastle. Ali showed tremendous maturity in the ring and a great shot selection as he decisioned Sean Jackson over four rounds, before moving 2-0 on Sunny Edwards' undercard in June.
Ali opened the show in Birmingham in August and picked up the first KO of his career, halting Francisco Rodriguez in the third round, and then turned in an impressive points victory over an unbeaten Giulio Commerso in Liverpool on October 2023.
