Aaron Bowen signed his first professional deal with Matchroom at the end of 2022 after enjoying a stellar amateur career up at Light-Heavyweight.
The 24-year-old, who has a huge Midlands following from his hometown Coventry, was a five-time National Champion, picked up Gold at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2017 and won Bronze at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
He started life as a professional in the Super-Middleweight division, earning a first round stoppage of Mathieu Gomes on the undercard of Leigh Wood-Mauricio Lara in Nottingham in February 2023. Bowen made his second pro outing on the rematch between Lara and Wood, and was taken the distance by a tough Aljaz Venko. He is already scheduled back out on Jul 1 in Sheffield.
