Decorated amateur Jimmy Sains turned over as professional with Matchroom Boxing in the summer of 2023 out of Tony Sims' Matchroom Elite Gym.

Sains made his debut on the undercard of Jai Opetaia-Jordan Thompson in September and secured a third round stoppage to kick off an exciting journey for the big punching Middleweight, before returning with another stoppage victory in Newcastle in November.

Making the most of stablemate Conor Benn headlining in Las Vegas in February 2024, Sains jumped on the undercard and opened the show with a stunning first round KO, before securing a fourth straight KO win on the undercard of Jordan Gill-Zelfa Barrett in the April.

Sains quickly moved to 6-0 with two wins in the space of seven days across the end of June and start of July, first of all headlining in Brentwood and then getting out on the undercard of Fisher-Babic in Stratford.

With a bit more time to prepare for his seventh professional outing, Sains continued his perfect start to life in the paid game with a routine second round KO on the Dixon-Harper bill in September.

Sains ended 2024 in December with an eighth straight KO and kept the KO streak alive a month later at the Indigo at the O2 in London.

Sains opened up the new year with a ninth straight stoppage win before going the distance for the first time in his 10th pro fight to claim the Southern Area Middleweight Title against Gideon Onyenani - the first pro title of his career.
