KATIE TAYLOR vs FLORA PILI WEIGH-IN SET FOR TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN AS HISTORIC FIGHT WEEK SCHEDULE IS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED

A historic fight week will see Katie Taylor and Flora Pili weigh-in at the iconic Trinity College Dublin before they fight for the Undisputed Super Lightweight Championship in front of 80,000 at Croke Park on Saturday, September 5 – live worldwide on DAZN and non-exclusively in Ireland on RTÉ.

Founded in 1592, Trinity College Dublin is Ireland’s oldest university, and home to its greatest cultural treasure, the Book of Kells – a precious 9th century manuscript.

Earlier this summer, in June, Ireland’s greatest ever athlete Katie Taylor received an honorary degree from Trinity as she was awarded the university’s highest honour by Chancellor Dr Mary McAleese at a special ceremony in Trinity’s historic Exam Hall.

And now, as she prepares for her final fight in professional boxing, Taylor looks forward to returning to Trinity next Friday, September 4, to face off with undefeated French opponent Pili for the last time before their monumental showdown.

Fight Week, delivered by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in association with Aiken Promotions and Brian Peters, begins on Tuesday, September 1 when Taylor and Pili meet at the Main Event Press Conference at The Helix, Mahony Hall.

Then, on Wednesday, September 2, Taylor and Pili lead the stacked card of fighters taking part in an Open Workout, taking place at the same venue at 6pm.
