Matchroom Live Launches On Wednesday

Matchroom Sport is delighted to launch Matchroom Live, a brand new platform giving sports fans worldwide access to its portfolio of events.

The service allows fans to delve into the history books of all Matchroom’s offerings, from Boxing to Darts to Snooker and many more, all for free. Fresh archive footage will be added continuously ensuring every sports fan has countless hours of sport to watch wherever they are in the world with registration available from Wednesday morning.

Matchroom Boxing is firmly established as the foremost boxing promotional outfit in the world, and with well over three decades of vast experience, the company has taken boxing onto another level in the UK with a series of ground-breaking promotions.

Fight fans will be able to enjoy an extensive catalogue of content featuring the likes of Anthony Joshua, Katie Taylor, Chris Eubank Sr, Nigel Benn, Tony Bellew, Carl Froch plus many more. Hours of Fight Night Classics, 101 Great Knockouts, Prize Fighter and Pro Box Classics will feature, as well as Eddie Hearn’s brand new Talk The Talk show with former Cruiserweight World Champion Tony Bellew with plenty more content to come.

Fans will also be able to live stream ongoing events through a subscription package and pay-per-view options in territories without current broadcast rights holders. Matchroom Live is a platform with the ability to cast to virtually any device whether that be a console, Smart TV, or connected device. The services will also allow fans to watch up to four live events at once with ‘QuadPlay’. The service is built and powered by sports streaming and video technology specialists StreamAMG, a longstanding partner of Matchroom Sport operating PDCTV since 2016 and streaming Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz II for the Indian Subcontinent in December 2019.
