Cruiserweight Jordan Thompson signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing in June 2021.
The 6’6” 29-year-old from Manchester turned pro in 2016 and moved to 10-0, while sparring the likes of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
Thompson beat Vasil Ducar the IBF European Cruiserweight Title in August 2022 before making wholesale changes behind the scenes and moving across to Tony Sims' Matchroom Elite gym.
'Troublesome' made his first outing with Sims in April 2023 and put in a statement performance, blasting Luke Watkins out in the fifth round.
Thompson landed a shot at the IBF World & Ring Magazine Cruiserweight Titles out of no where in September but fell short in his pursuit of greatness against a very special Jai Opetaia.
